Lourdes Diaz
Producer Lourdes Diaz has been a driving force at AGC Studios since its earliest days, playing a central role in shaping the company’s creative vision, strategic direction, and global identity. Her influence spans material selection, talent partnerships, and the cultivation of AGC’s dynamic, creative culture.
Diaz most recently served on the AGC Board of Directors and as Chief Content Officer, leading the studio’s creative operations across film and television and overseeing projects from development through launch. She previously served as President of AGC Television, with responsibility for all scripted, non-scripted, non-fiction, and digital content.
Prior to joining AGC, Diaz served as President of Entertainment at Univision Communications Inc., where she significantly broadened and diversified the company’s entertainment portfolio. She worked closely with major international partners including Televisa, Netflix, Globo, Endemol, and others, helping position Univision as a leading destination for premium, globally resonant content. Diaz was Head of Global Production and Development at Viacom International Studios, overseeing development across international Viacom channels and serving as executive producer on numerous scripted and unscripted series worldwide. She previously held senior programming roles at NBC and Universal Media Studios as Vice President of Primetime Programming, where she was an executive on multiple acclaimed comedies and dramas, including House, Parenthood, and The Office.
Diaz began her executive career as Head of Creative Affairs for Green Moon Productions, the company formed by Antonio Banderas and Melanie Griffith. She is a graduate of Emerson College and began her career as an agent at ICM, representing more than 50 writers and directors.
